This handcrafted artisan salt is created from Balinese centuries-old salt making traditions that started with the evaporation of sea water in the beds of black volcanic sands to create pure distilled brine and the uses of solar houses to naturally turn the brine into coarse rock crystal salts. This solid form of salt is suitable for flavoring high-temperature cooking such as soups, stews, grills, and pasta.
